Students are able to opt for a range of enrichment opportunities to supplement their core study programme, including:

There are other non-academic enrichment opportunities available such as the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, our Sixth Form Teaching Assistant programme (VITA), house competitions, work experience, stage productions and the annual Eisteddfod!
Study Programme Structure
Most students will study three subjects (or the equivalent) across Years 12 and 13.
Some of our most able students will have the opportunity to study four subjects across the two years.
There will be no formal AS examinations, but students will have regular assessments and rigorous internal examinations at the end of Year 12.
Entry Requirements
Three A level study programmes:

Achieve a minimum of five 6-9 GCSE grades

Meet any specific subject entry requirements
Four A level study programmes:

Achieve a minimum of seven 8-9 GCSE grades

Meet any specific subject entry requirements
Level 3 BTEC programmes:

Achieve a minimum of five 5-9 GCSE grades or the BTEC Level 2 equivalents (pass or above)

Meet any specific subject entry requirements
Level 3 BTEC courses can be combined with A-levels. Mixed programmes will be subject to a review of individual examination performance.
