Careers
South Bromsgrove High offers independent, impartial careers advice and guidance regarding education, employment, training opportunities to students across years 9 to 13. We have an experienced careers adviser, Mrs Nicola Robinson, who meets one to one with students to offer careers advice and
guidance. Appointments are targeted at specific key transition points with a view to supporting students with decision making concerning their future options.

We offer:

One to one impartial career guidance appointments for Year 11 students who are considering their post 16 options; Sixth Form, college, apprenticeships.

Guidance for students in Year 9 with their option choices.

One to one impartial career guidance appointments for Sixth Form students with regards to their Post 18 options, including University, gap year, further and higher education, employment apprenticeships and training.

A drop-in at breaks and lunchtimes for any students to come and ask questions about careers or education.

A wide range of visits and speakers are arranged to support students in their career choices/education over their time at the school.

A careers library based in the Hub where students can do personal research into career ideas and employment routes. A selection of Further and Higher Education prospectuses are also available for students.
