Exam Results and Performance Tables

2022/2023 Examination overview.

Students that attended South Bromsgrove High School celebrated an excellent set of A Level and Level 3 BTEC results in 2023 with 44.6% of grades at A*-B and an average grade of a C+. Alongside these academic results a number of students played an active role in the rich extracurricular provision of the school including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the school play, sport and the annual Eisteddfod.

Year 11 students celebrated some outstanding achievements in their GCSEs with over three quarters of students achieving a grade 4 in both English and maths, and a quarter of students accomplishing a grade 7, equivalent to an A grade, for their English or maths GCSEs.

Chris Smith, the school’s headteacher said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future. We are grateful for the support of parents, carers and teaching staff to students in helping them to achieve these strong outcomes. Against a national backdrop of grade reduction our students have achieved outcomes in excess of the previous 2019 cohort.
