Bronze DofE
The Bronze Award is undertaken by approximately 200 students in Year 10.
The Bronze Expedition section is led by Mrs Haden (ESH) who is supported by Mrs Stock (CB). The Bronze team consists of approximately 25 experienced and well qualified supervisors who take responsibility for supporting groups of students during the Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime training and route planning sessions, and during the expeditions themselves.
The Bronze team is supported by Mr Dixon (Director of DofE), Mrs Kershaw and Miss Street (DofE Administrators).
The DofE Helpdesk is open in the Reception area during breaktime on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays offering participants the opportunity to speak with a member of the DofE team for advice & guidance regarding their award.

Deadline for enrolment forms to be returned in person to Mr Dixon, Miss Street or Mrs Kershaw only: 2 October
Deadline for enrolment/admin payment to be made online using Parent Pay: 2 October
Expedition training starts: January
Expedition payment due: 1 March 2026
Practice Expedition: Friday 5th - Monday 8th June 2026
Qualifying Expedition: Monday 6th - Friday 10th July 2026
